ASIAN GRILLED SALMON STEAKS

Serve Asian Grilled Salmon Steaks with steamed or sautéed sugar snap peas and brown rice. Tip: Cook a larger quantity of brown rice (or a whole grain rice blend) as part of your meal prepping and include with other meals.

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup white wine or sherry
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Salmon

  • 4 salmon steaks approx 4 oz each

Instructions

  1. In medium bowl, combine marinade ingredients. Place salmon and marinade in a zipper closure freezer bag and turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes.
  2. Brush grill lightly with cooking oil. Preheat on high heat.
  3. Remove salmon from marinade and discard marinade. Place salmon on grill and cook 4 to 6 minutes per side or until salmon flakes easily.
