21 Jun Grilled Lemon Garlic Shrimp
GRILLED LEMON GARLIC SHRIMP
- 3 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3 tbsp white wine
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb raw large shrimp, peeled and deveined
In medium bowl, combine marinade ingredients. Place shrimp and marinade in a zipper closure freezer bag and turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator 30 to 45 minutes.
Brush grill lightly with cooking oil. Preheat on high heat.
Remove shrimp from marinade and discard marinade. Thread shrimp on skewers leaving some space between shrimp. Place skewers on grill for 5 to 8 minutes, turning once midway, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
TO BROIL: Place top rack in oven approximately 4 inches from top element. Preheat oven on broil for 5 minutes. Place shrimp skewers on a broiler rack. Broil shrimp for 5 to 8 minutes, turning once midway, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
