CAJUN RUB

Did you know that it is National Public Health Week? Why not try making a homemade salt free Cajun rub and use on boneless, skinless chicken breasts or pork tenderloin.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano leaves
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Store extra in an airtight container until ready to use.

Recipe makes 10 1/2 teaspoons.
